Susan Deegan - Principal Team Lead

 

Susan has been with Cpl for 5 years and is Team Lead for Cpl Engineering & Supply Chain.  She specialises in the areas of Supply Chain & Senior Operations roles.  In her career with Cpl she has successfully managed numerous recruitment projects, with a focus on delivery within tight deadlines.  M.Sc & B.A. qualified, Susan has previously worked in Supply Chain with Novell Software and also with Aer Lingus.

Aileen Cahill – Senior Consultant

Aileen Cahill holds a Diploma in Business and Hotel Management and is currently employed with CPL Recruitment where she holds the title of Senior Recruitment Consultant. Prior to this Aileen worked for 3 years for Eden Recruitment where she was employed as a Recruiter. Aileen has extensive experience in recruiting from junior to senior levels in all areas in the pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sectors on the permanent and contracting side.

Judith Moffett – Senior Consultant

 

Judith Moffett is a Senior Consultant in the Science/Engineering division in CPL and has been working there for two years.     Judith specializes in contract and permanent recruitment for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and clinical trials industries.  She has a B.Sc. in Biology and a M.Sc. in Science Communication.  Judith is very interested in science communication in general and is a committee member of Dublin’s Science Café, the Alchemist Café.

Maeve O’Sullivan – Principal Executive (Wyeth Account Manager)

As account manager, Maeve spends approximately 90% of the time working the Wyeth Bio-Pharma Account. She is responsible for allocating all new Wyeth contract and permanent vacancies to the relevant consultants in the Cpl group and maintaining an excellent working relationship with not just Wyeth HR but also Cpl consultants. Maeve’s role with Wyeth will be to assist the Service Delivery Team to settle in quickly to Wyeth and ultimately to continue to source suitable candidates for hire with rapid turnaround times.

Niall Clerkin – Senior Consultant

Niall Clerkin is the teams Contract Engineering Specialist. Hired in late August he has thus far concentrated on Wyeth contracting needs. Niall had worked for 18 months with Intel Contract Labour both in Ireland and the US, and managed the hiring & relocating of an entire workforce (over 200 people) for FAB 14. He spent 3 months in the US introducing a labour Model that he had designed to order. Previously Niall worked for 1 year as an Engineering Recruiter in a start up scenario in the North East. His pre-recruitment background includes considerable project management experience, and a BA in European Studies.

Rosemary McGovern - Consultant

Rosemary McGovern holds an honours Degree in English and Sociology from the National University of Ireland Maynooth. Since graduating Rosemary worked as a waitress while trying to pursue a career in Human resources. She then worked with Hewlett Packard as a human resources administrator for the manpower team. Following on from Hewlett Packard she joined Cpl, and has been here for the past year and a quarter. Working on the Engineering Team she recruits in the area of Facilities and Maintenance on both the permanent and contract side. Since joining Cpl, Rosemary has also enrolled for the part-time CIPD course in Personnel Practice which she attends in National College of Ireland.

Jenny Navan - Consultant

Jenny graduated from the National College of Ireland in May 2006 and holds a BA in Accounting and Human Resource Management, specialising in HR. She has been with CPL since September 2006, working as a recruitment coordinator for Wyeth Biotech and acting as contact point for Skillnet training within CPL. Prior to joining CPL, Jenny worked as a supervisor in Ipsos MORI, one of the largest market research consultants in Europe. Jenny will join CPL Science as a recruiter in March 2007.

Julio Garcia - Trainee Consultant

Julio Garcia is the newest member of the S&E team, (hired in January 2007) and is supporting Niall Clerkin in building the Contract Engineering area. Julio has a Masters Equivalent in Industrial Engineering and has previously worked for 1 year in HC energy, as a Purchasing Engineer. Initially Julio will be concentrating on supporting administration and building knowledge of Pharmaceutical & Biotechniology companies, hopefully developing a second contracting area in partnership with Niall. He is already contributing ideas and his engineering knowledge to this team.
